Bandai Namco has decided to postpone the release of the survival horror game Get Even out of respect for victims of Manchester terror attack.
Get Even is an anxiety-inducing game and contains a scene where a girl has a bomb strapped on her. The game’s theme appears to be inappropriate to the current mood following the terror attack at an Ariana Grande concert at Machester Arena, where a suicide bomber killed at least 22 people and injured 59 more.
Bandai Namco has released a statement about the incident, “Given recent events and out of respect we have decided to postpone the commercial release of Get Even to June 23rd. We would like to express our deepest condolences to everyone concerned.”
Get Even will now release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 23, 2017; the release date was originally scheduled May 26, 2017.
